If you have ‘liked’ our Facebook page, you may have noticed that we recently hosted a live viewing of one of our properties in Great Yarmouth. But what was the reason for this? Well, although we specialise in selling properties in Norfolk, our sales team often search further afield to find buyers from out of the county who are looking to buy a property in Norfolk. With this specific property, we connected with an interested party who currently live in London. So we arranged for them to view the house via Facebook Live with a member of our team filming. After the virtual tour ended, the interested party were able to chat with the vendor on the phone to ask any remaining questions and talk a bit more about the property. The following week, we arranged for an in-person viewing of the property as the viewers had liked what they saw during the Facebook Live viewing and wanted to see the property in person. After the second successful viewing, an offer was put forward and accepted by the vendor!
Both we and the vendor of the property are very happy with the outcome, not only because we have successfully sold a clients property, but also because we sold it using a method that is new to estate agency, live stream property viewings.
